ensure that products are marketed and sold in accordance with budgeted objectives to obtain maximum profitability, having regard to manufacturing capacity, plant loading and capital invested in plant inventory.
responsible to look for valued customers who will continuously patronized and buys the product.
identify market opportunities for the company’s products.
formulate and implement strategies and plans for the penetration of new markets and the development of existing ones, getting always good share of the market to the end-users.
identify new product opportunities based on customer needs and liaise with other departments in product development.
meet and defeat the stiff competition of the product in the market to capture the sympathy of the end-users away from other manufactured products towards the company’s products and convince the market consumers and end-user’s supplier that the company product is much better off than the competitors’ product.
organize, supervise and control the activities of the product sales department to facilitate the accurate and timely preparation of tenders, quotations and other processing.
supervise the administration of contracts with regard to customers’ related modification and changes in delivery or commercial conditions.
promote the company’s product within the sales expense budget by all means of available medias.
maintain and analyse records or market share, market volume and price fluctuations as well as to ensure the company develops and maintain a competitive edge in the market place via its quality, enterprise, ingenuity, productivity and product reliability.
assist management establishing the annual sales and sales expense budgets.
other duties as assigned.
sub duties :
participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
follow-up for collection of payment.
coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
bachelor degree in electrical engineering and/or equivalent
3 – 15 years of experience
basic computer literacy, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
other qualification :
knowledge in package sub-station, lv switchgear, lv panel boards and distribution boards, motor control centers, capacitor banks, automatic transfer switches and manual transfer switches, relay panels.
knowledge in iec and nema standard in order to discuss with the customers and consultants for project specification.
ability to persuade and influence others. ability to develop and deliver presentations.
ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
strong interpersonal and communication skills.
knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. this requires the possession of a valid driver license within 90 days of employment.
work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel
