Executive Secretary
job responsibilities:
provide assistance and support to the cop & ceo.
organizes and schedules focus groups and meetings as needed.
maintains office calendar to coordinate work flow and meetings.
plans, organizes, coordinates, promotes, and facilitates events.
assists in preparing a variety of publications, materials, and programs for events as needed.
acts as prime source for events; initiates, coordinates and/or participates in all efforts to publicize activities, services, and events.
schedules and maintains communication with speakers, counterparts, and participants.
answers general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
directs phone inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
maintains confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and organization information.
greets visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner.
prepares and sends outgoing faxes, mail and packages.
forwards incoming general e-mails to the appropriate staff member.
monitors and assists with the database of the organizationís website.
files and retrieves organizational documents, records and reports.
data entry and upkeep of the organizationís databases, with a high level of accuracy.
provides administrative support for the office.
takes minutes of meetings as required.
carries out other duties as required.

skills required:
two to three years of administrative/office experience is required.
experience working in a multi cultural environment.
should be proficient in english and arabic (written and spoken).
computer competency requiring word-processing, spreadsheet and database software knowledge and experience.
reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
strong written and oral communication skills.
strong interpersonal skills.
ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
other personal characteristics:
demonstrated interpersonal, facilitation and negotiating skills, including the ability to effectively consult and liaise with people at various levels within the community.
ability to work in a small team environment.
time management skills are a bonus.

Director of TV Licensing & Sponsorship
summary:
bamyan media is seeking an exceptional individual to manage the integrated sale and sponsorship of the tv programing we are currently developing for mainstream egyptian tv.
key responsibilities include the following:
● pitching show(s) to major egyptian television networks.
● finalizing and closing broadcasting and co-production agreements.
● analyze the csr interests and fit with key sponsors and develop a strategy for engaging
major brand names.
● developing integrated sponsorship packages for advertisers, including product
placement as well as other online and off-line outreach activities.
● adapting proposals to sponsors specific interests and marketing objectives.
● finalizing and closing sponsorship contracts.
● work with creative production team to integrate sponsor messaging and content into the
tv series and maximise impact and results for our partners.
the successful applicant will have:
● several years of experience in negotiating tv licencing deals with private and governmental egyptian tv networks.
● a strong professional network of contacts with well known egyptian and international corporations.
● track record of significant business development achievements including selling tv shows and advertising to major accounts involving large contracts ($ millions).
● proven ability to manage/execute on business objectives within tight time-frames.
● ability to form and maintain professional relationships with decision makers at major corporations and with government and international agencies.
● curiosity, humility and sense of openness to innovations in development and
sustainability. a dynamic and engaging personality.
● excellent written and oral communication skills.
● good at analyzing complex information and presenting findings in a clear and succinct
manner.
● education preferred: masters degree in marketing and or equivalent experience in the field.

Communications Director
job responsibilities:
update website and increase overall traffic to the bamyan website by developing new approaches to disseminate information, build our email list and social media presence;

dpk seeks an egyptian legal expert to join a usaid-funded project in egypt to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the criminal justice system. this 5-year project will work closely with the prosecutor generalís office (pgo) to assess the judiciaryís automation systems, develop pilot public defense systems, and implement related systems. the responsibilities for this full-time position includes providing technical assistance in area of expertise and managing short-term consultants as needed.
- legal expert: will work closely with the ministry of justice and the prosecutor generalís office to implement project activities. must have a law degree and a minimum of 5 years in the egyptian judicial field, preferably in the criminal justice sector.
