Accounting Administrative Clerk Job

1. Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities of establishment, performing variety of bookkeeping duties and utilizing knowledge of systems or procedures.
2. Copies data and compiles records and reports.
3. Calculate, tabulates and posts data in record books.
4. Verifies accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers
5. Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustment.
6. Prepares budgets based on previous budget figures or estimated revenues and expenses.
7. Computes and records wages, taxes, premiums, commissions, rent, utilities, and other expenses.
8. Compile reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
9. Reconciles and balances accounts.
10. Summarizes details in separate ledgers or computer files and transfers data to general ledger, using calculator or computer.
11. Prepare payroll for their department and Calculate employee wages.
12. Prepares inventory and stock-record sheets.
13. Computes and records orders for merchandise, inventory, service charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges and similar items.
14. Prepares reports of labor and equipment costs incurred in loading and unloading of Inventory.
15. Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported no usable, slow-moving, and excess stock.
16. Controls the safe and receives, counts, and pays out cash.
17. Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, invoices, statements, and checks.
18. May greet and assist visitors.
19. May purchase supplies for the department.
20. Report all financial records to the head office accounting manager.
