- Using excel spreadsheets to produce departmental efficiency figures for production managers on a daily basis. calculating hours & production figures, recording downtime, reclaimed & yield figures.

- Liaising with the payroll administrator to cross check payroll hours & rates against production spreadsheets.

- Instructing the staffing agency of the hours to be paid each week by completing the agency time sheet & accounting for the movements of all agency staff on a daily basis.

- Calculating & advising a customer of kill figures & wool weights each week.

- Liaising with managers & security guards to control access to the site using the time & attendance system. activating, de-activating & re-issuing the clock cards & key fobs which are issued to all staff on site.

- Coding & processing purchase orders & receipting the orders on the m3/infor accounting system.

- Liaising with the purchase ledger clerk & chasing any outstanding delivery notes.

- Assisting the dry store supervisor with stock control & the setting up of new products on m3/infor.

- Answering the telephone to calls to the main switchboard number & the accounts team.

- Using the franking machine & taking the post to security for collection by royal mail.

- Holiday cover for livestock payments. processing purchased livestock on payments system & sending cheques to livestock suppliers.
