A web designer designs websites, provides existing websites with new corporate identity or design elements and designs corporate identities for generic use.

What Does a Web Designer Do

A web designer isn't a website builder, but is familiar with the limitations, possibilities and impossibilities of websites in terms of use, interfaces and takes this into account in the designs. Some web designers are also called front end developers. These are the developers who, in addition to their work as a programmer, are (partly) responsible for the design of a website.
