With some traineeships you obtain diplomas and certificates and with other traineeships you're trained in, for example, leadership, time management, project work or training courses that specifically address your field. Anyway, you learn a lot in a short time.

Insight into your abilities

During a traineeship you often do multiple projects in different departments. For example, a different project every six months. This way you get to know the organization quickly and you're busy with something completely new every few months. By working in different departments in different teams, you'll find out what you're good at. You discover where your powers lie, what you like and what you don't like. Based on this, you can choose your next assignment.

Fellow trainees

An organization often hires several trainees at the same time. This means you start in a group with which you can spar during the traineeship. You can share experiences and learn from each other.

At the table with higher management

Trainees often have an advantage in the organization and are allowed to join meetings with higher management. As a trainee, you're therefore well aware of what's happening in the organization, what's important and how it works at this level.

Personal assistance

As a trainee you'll receive personal guidance from a coach or mentor. This experienced colleague can help you get the best out of yourself and thereby get the most out of the traineeship. You can ask all your questions about the organization to this person, so you always have someone to spar with. (He / she)'ll also provide you with feedback so that you can grow in your position.

During a traineeship you build up a large and wide network in a short time. Because you start with several trainees, you immediately have a foundation. You also work in different departments, so you get to know a whole new team every few months. This combination allows you to quickly get to know a large part of the organization.

View of a job

The organization trains you in one to three years. When you've successfully completed the traineeship, you know where your strengths are and your manager knows that too. In addition, the organization has invested a lot in you in recent years, so chances are that you'll be offered a suitable job to further develop yourself within the organization.
